I thought everyone loved their domestic animals as much as I always did and do. Adopting a rescue with some issues opened my eyes to a reality I would never have imagined for cats, dogs, and other household pets. If you want to help or extend your home, please see some nonprofits doing great work.
Shenandoah Shepard Rescue (SSR) - Currently German Shepards are the 2nd most euthanized dog after pit bull mixes. These brilliant dogs can be very fearful, often mistaken for aggression. These dogs need help.

Project Coyote - Project Coyote is a national non-profit organization based in Northern California whose mission is to promote compassionate conservation and coexistence between people and wildlife through education, science and advocacy.
